Aspire Appalachia hosted a Blood Drive with the Kentucky Blood Center in Jackson, KY on July 13, 2020.
"As a community, we were able to change the lives of 20 people." said Lyndze Smoot, President of Aspire Appalachia.
The Kentucky Blood Center was able to collect 20 blood donations during the drive.
Aspire Appalachia worked with Dr. Jennifer Lindon of the Hazard Community and Technical College to secure a safe parking spot for the Kentucky Blood Center Bloodmobile.
"Aspire Appalachia would like to thank all of the blood donors, Kentucky Blood Center staff and Hazard Community and Technical College for making this event successful. We look forward to future blood drives to continue our journey of making a difference in Eastern Kentucky." stated Lyndze Smoot.
