Aspire Appalachia Helps Flood Survivors

Recently, we were able to help two separate causes that didn’t go directly to a home owner, but to some amazing people and groups working to help flood survivors.

Partnership Housing in Owsley County, KY reached out for some help. They are graciously building homes for flood victims in Owsley County. They needed some help with drywall and insulation for the remaining houses they are building. We are so thankful we had the ability to help with some of that!

A local pastor was working with a group to build some tiny homes here in Breathitt County. They reached out and needed help with subfloors and insualtion. We were able to purchase the supplies for 4 tiny homes that are being constructed!

We are so thankful we’ve had the opportunity to help out in these ventures and to help get people back into safe housing before winter comes.

On top of that, we have helped 230 families with drywall and insulation across Eastern Kentucky and over 80 applications processed for appliances/furniture.

Check out our new link on our website that allows you to get all updated flood information and links to our applications!
